Welcome to the Egyptian Cardiac Arrest Project- ECAP- Website
Dear colleagues
For many years, the Egyptian College of Critical Care Physicians ( ECCCP) has strived to study the magnitude of Sudden Cardiac Death in Egypt. And also to provide the medical community with the best training to be prepared in saving sudden cardiac arrest victims.
With these goals, ECCCP has initiated in 2015 the Egyptian Cardiac Arrest Project (ECAP) which has the following objectives:
- Surveying the magnitude of the problem in Egypt
- Increasing the awareness of the community about this devastating condition
- Training the lay people, as well as healthcare providers for resuscitation to help save lives
- Encouraging Health care authorities to expand the presence of AEDs in public gatherings
I would like to express my gratitude to our generous supporter of ECAP; the National Bank of Egypt and Misr El Kheir Foundation for supporting and sponsoring our project . And also thank my colleagues from the ECAP team who are providing every effort in our training courses and convoys.Their sincerity and dedication towards ECAP remains commendable.
